Tammy Wilkerson Obituary
Tammy is survived by her mom, Marilyn Sanders Barton; her daughter, Jenna Thomas; her grandchildren, Harrison and Ollie Thomas; her siblings; Mike Barton (Dana), Barry Barton (Tonya) and Gina Roberts (Chris). Nephews; Luke Barton, Bradley Barton (Ashley) and Jackson Roberts. Nieces; Shelbie Phelps (David), Emmy Roberts and Eliza Roberts.She was preceded in death by her father James Howard Barton; her son-in-law, Beau Thomas; her grandparents; Vernon and Gertrude Barton, Kirby and Frances Sanders.
Tammy was born in Memphis, TN to Howard and Marilyn Barton. She was the oldest of four siblings. Tammy began working at the age of 14. She worked in sales for Home Interiors, owned a local gift shop, and then worked as a manicurist for 30 plus years. Her clients became like family, and she loved her time with them. Tammy worked hard as a single parent. She was a talented cook, floral designer, and catered countless weddings and other events, often free of charge. Tammy was generous with her time and money. She loved a project and was always willing to help someone in need. Tammy also enjoyed planning family gatherings for every holiday. She loved the beach and traveled to Florida every summer. Tammy was a loving mother, sister, and daughter and will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held
