Taryn D'Ann Jensen, age 65, of Woodinville passed away on Tuesday October 26, 2021 on a blustery fall day that she would have loved. Taryn was born on September 4, 1956 in Seattle, WA. She was a graduate of Meadowdale High School class of 1974 and was a proud hair stylist and business owner of Salon Zuberenz! in Lynnwood, WA for around 35 years.
She loved spoiling her three boys, all the holidays, riding bicycles and rollerblades on the Burke-Gilman trail, attending the annual Tisdel Family Reunion that she cofounded over 40 years ago, family cabin trips to Ocean Shores and Palm Springs, traveling through Europe, backseat Harley rides with her husband, girlfriend dates at Molbaks in Woodinville, working in her Salon surrounded by her fellow employees, praising the Lord throughout the week and attending church on Sundays. She was best friends with Jesus Christ and an active member of North Creek Presbyterian Church. She loved her pets throughout life including cats Mischief and Sydney, goat Wags, horse Scotch, and dogs Buffalo, Chips, Elizabeth, Cooper and Palin.
She empowered many women as a church youth group leader and business owner employing around 50 hairdressers throughout the time of ownership. She was loved by so many and impacted many lives by loving her family, empowering employees, conversating with clients, and leading church mission trips, even stretching her arms into Haiti monetarily sponsoring and acting as a pen pal for a child for almost 8 years. She was described by many as sweet and kind.
Taryn is preceded in death by her parents Don and Joyce Tisdel, and two brothers Sam and Mike Tisdel. She is survived by her childhood sweetheart and husband of 45 years, Jeff Jensen; 3 sons Jason (wife, Heidi), Landon and Brady (wife, Kate) Jensen; 3 grandchildren Adalyn, Emma, and Jake Jensen and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Viewing will be held on Monday, November 8 from 12noon to 5p.m. at Beck's Tribute Center in Edmonds, WA. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday November 9th at North Creek Presbyterian Church in Mill Creek, WA with Pastor Kurt Helmcke officiating.
