Ted Henry Monnier

Dr. Ted Henry Monnier, aged 89, passed away on July 14, 2025, in Clearwater, Florida. Born on December 17, 1935, Ted dedicated his life to his family and the walking out his faith in Jesus Christ.

Born in Detroit, Michigan. Ted grew up in Oldsmar, Florida graduating from Hillsborough High School and from Lincoln Chiropractic College. He spent 60 fulfilling years as a Chiropractic Physician in Clearwater, where he was respected and loved by his patients and the community alike.

Opening his practice on Drew Street in 1957, he later moved to Sunset Point Road, spending nearly 45 more years caring for the patients he loved.

Ted and Carol were active in the Clearwater Jaycees, lifetime members, holding local, district and state offices, and directing many events and projects benefiting the City of Clearwater

As a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, Ted pour himself into the ministries he loved. He attended 178 weekend encounters with Bill Glass Prison Ministry spanning 26 years. He was active in the Florida Inmate Encounters and the Columbus Boys Detention Center, taking every opportunity to share the love of Christ.

Ted also spent decades supporting missions in Haiti where he directed the building of a medical clinic, an orphanage and a school.

Ted is survived by his loving wife, Carol Monnier; daughters Debra Munoz & Richard; Kari Saul & Randy; son, Kent; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Diana Monnier; brothers Stephen & Dennis Eyre, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard (Bud) Monnier; mother, Marguerite Krapp Eyre; sister, Beverly Akins and son, Michael Monnier.

A service to celebrate Ted's life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Calvary Chapel Palm Harbor at 11:00 AM.
