Teresa Ann "Terri" Delong

In humble submission to the will of our Creator, we announce the passing of Teresa Ann DeLong, lovingly known as 'Terri', on May 21, 2024, in Monroe, GA. Born on August 1, 1951, in Illinois, Terri was a devoted mother, dear friend, a person of faith and grace who honored the sanctity of life through her actions and relationships.

Terri found joy in simple pleasures and treasuring every moment spent with loved ones. She found joy through singing hymns, dancing, and gardening. Her quick wit and laughter could light up a room. While we mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing that her laughter will echo in our hearts forever.

Terri exemplified the virtues of patience, kindness, and forgiveness. She was quick to offer a helping hand, a listening ear, or a shoulder to lean on. Her steadfast belief in the promise of eternal life sustained her through life's trials, and she now rests in the arms of her Heavenly Father, forever at peace.

Blessed with a loving family, Terri is survived by her children, Todd (Robin) Moore, Scott (Megan) Moore, and Megan DeLong; her six grandchildren, Cody, Brandon, Audrey, McKenzie, Aidan, Levi, Aven, and Chandler; her great-grandchild, Nathaniel; and her sister, Kim Holland. Terri has now joined her beloved parents, Ulyes and Ellen Brumley, and brothers, Barry and Dennis Brumley, in eternal rest.

A Celebration of Life service will be scheduled at a future date to honor Terri. In keeping with her generous spirit, the family suggests that those who wish to express sympathy consider making a donation to St. Jude Hospital, a charitable organization close to Terri's heart. As we bid farewell to Terri, we are reminded to live with the same humility and love she exemplified. We honor her memory and strive to emulate her unwavering faith and boundless love. May she rest in peace knowing she was deeply loved and cherished.
