Teresa Jo Barrett-Kelly entered suddenly and peacefully into eternal rest to be with our lord on July 04, 2024.

Teresa was born to JoEna and Landon Barrett in Pittsburg Texas on August 13 1955. After graduating the San Dieguito High School in 1973 she married Dan Ray Kelly Jr in 1977. Teresa was preceded in death by Dan Ray Kelly Jr in 2012 and her father Landon Barrett in 1997. She is the granddaughter of the late Mertis and Joe Matlock of Encinitas CA. Teresa worked for Defense Finance Accounting Services (DFAS) on USMC Base Camp Pendleton/ San Diego CA for many years until her retirement in 2009. Teresa is survived by her mother JoEna Barrett of Castle Rock CO daughters Stephanie Kelly (Kirk) Joy of Oceanside CA and Heather Kelly (Gil) Monzon of Clarkston MI, her twin sisters, Melanie of San Diego CA and Robin (Jean) of Castle Rock CO, grandson Logan Monzon of Clarkston MI and her grandsons Joseph and Tyler Fowler of Oceanside CA along with nephews Eric of San Diego and Scott (Sarah) of Franklin TN, and niece Adrienne (Aaron) of Austin TX. Teresa also enjoyed her dog Cody and Kuzco along with 4 legged grandsons Atlas and Enzo Joy.

Teresa enjoyed relaxing at home and spending time with her dogs. Animals always brought Teresa comfort and animals always enjoyed her comforting hand. Teresa was a Christian woman who had faith in god and that faith brought her much comfort over the years. There will be no calling hours. There will be a celebration of life on August 16 th in Oceanside CA at the Mission San Luis Rey.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Teresa's memory to the San Diego Humane Society.

"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." John 14:3
