Teresa and my mother, Rita Kohler Schmidt, were lifelong friends. She was with my mother when I was born at St. Joseph's Hospital in 1949, and again in 1950 when my mother delivered a premature baby boy. Teresa made sure that baby was baptized as he was not expected to live. I am sharing a picture taken at my mother's bridal shower, August 1948.

Love you and Teresa❤ (AKA Aunt Tree). Always loving and patient. So glad you were close to us on Chalfont Drive. Good friend to her sister-in Law, my mom (Eleanor Shelly). Always laughed at her brother-in-law's jokes, my dad (George Shelly).
God has a place for you taking care of the little angels In heaven!

Aunt Theresa as she was lovingly known to her extended family was a treasure and she will be sadly missed. She was admired by many of us for her warm loving sense of humor. We spent so many great times with her, Aunt Eleanor and Uncle George over the years.
I can't imagine how many families of her little patients were grateful for all she did for their babies. She was a wonderful example to many of us and we will celebrate her life. My sympathies to all of you.
