Teresa Kordish-Dal Porto Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 24, 2025.
Teresa Kordish-Dal Porto was born on October 11, 1953 and passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on September 19, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bobbie Jo Kordish. She is survived by her husband, Albert Dal Porto Jr.; her son, Albert Dal Porto III (Sara Somera); her daughter, Kristi Schmitt (Robert); and her three granddaughters, Alexis (Trevor Clemons), Lindsey, and Sophia Schmitt.

To the world, Teresa was a woman with a heart of gold, radiating kindness and compassion. She had a way of making everyone feel like the most important person in the room. To her family, she was that and more. She was their orange, their warmth and their resilience. She carried joy into every space and showed up every single time, no matter the weight she was carrying. She will always be

remembered for the way she gave herself so completely to others. The world is better because she was in it, and undoubtedly less bright without her.

Teresa carried a playful spirit that found joy in even the smallest adventures. She loved the buzz of Las Vegas and the thrill of the slot machines, chasing the fun as much as the winnings. She also had a deep love for Disney, a place that matched her sense of wonder and reminded everyone that magic is not just for children.

Her greatest joy, though, came from the daily adventures she shared with her family. She showed up completely and fully, whether it was a doctor's appointment, wedding planning, a graduation, cheering at events, welcoming visitors for coffee, or even a simple phone call. She was all in, all of the time.

Under the glow of casino lights, walking down Main Street with childlike wonder, or gathered around the tree at Christmas, Teresa celebrated life with energy and joy that were contagious and unforgettable. That light will continue to guide her family, even as the world feels less bright without her.

Burial services and funeral will be held privately.
