Teresa was an amazing friend; I first met her as the mother of Chris coming into my class at Sands Montessori.
Teresa offered ( as she always did) to help in any way she could in the classroom. She had wisdom, practicality, care, and skills in teaching
that revealed themselves in her volunteering.
As we became friends, I was struck by her humility and her spirituality in the everyday aspects of life. I was grateful for her willingness to share herself , along with a ‘twinkling’ elfin sort of humor that was totally refreshing!
As she got sicker , I felt privileged to be able to share Healing Touch with her, at her request, because I felt like I gained immeasurably from the experiences.
I think Teresa is one of the true Saints in the broadest and most loving sense of that word!
I still miss you, Teresa...

I was saddened to hear of Teresa's passing. She was my teacher at St. Dominic School in the early 90s. She was affectionately referred to as "Rambo" Ritter. Even at the age of 11 I was amazed that she'd show up to work every morning with wet hair as she had gotten up at 5:00AM to swim before school. She was one tough lady and surely, an inspiration.

Teresa,
You were wonderfully generous and quirkily humorous, and it was a rare and beautiful combination... you will be sorely missed!
Teachers remember Teresa with her determined gait coming down the hall @ Sands Montessori offering her own special combination of help and support to teachers with material making, listening, or offering an insight or perspective when needed. And Teresa's and Scott's son, Chris, was one of the most motivated learners and "no-issues" kids in the classroom--thanks, Teresa and Scott! I am grateful to have been in your "sphere", Teresa. Love & peace to you, and continue your "work" in this new realm!

Dear Scott and Chris, I am saying a prayer for you today. Your lovely wife and Mother will be truly missed here on earth. I want you to know, Teresa made a big impact on my life. She showed me how to look at each day as a blessing, and to see the glass as half full , no matter what life brings you. Her positive words, her sense of humor, her thoughtful quotes, her passion for the folks at Tender Mercies, her endless kindness for others were wonderful examples of how to live life. I know Teresa Ritter Morrow is in heaven today. She will always be Saint Teresa to me.
