ATHENS — Services for Teresa Stegall, 61, Athens are scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday at Living for the Brand Cowboy Church with Rev. Perry Smith and Rev. Gene Bishop officiating.Burial will follow in Meredith Cemetery.Mrs. Stegall died July 1, 2009, at home.She was born August 16, 1948, in Grand Prairie to James and Bennie LaVerne Wann Jones. Teresa studied cosmetology concurrently with her high school courses graduating from Grand Prairie High School in 1966. She has worked as a cosmetologist 43 years. Having lived in Athens 30 years, she worked at Mr. Earl's Beauty Salon 17 years. She was a member of Shady Oaks Baptist Church and attended Living for the Brand Cowboy Church where she was active in Cowgirls of Faith.Teresa was preceded in death by her father, James Jones; brother, Rodney Jones; and father of the children, Michael Stegall.Survivors include sons, Josef Edward Stegall and wife, Paloma, of U.S. Army Ft. Hood; David Michael Stegall; Aaron Wesley Stegall, both of Athens; daughter, Wesla Diane Stegall-Richardson, of Dallas; mother and stepfather, Bennie and Wayman Graham, of Grand Prairie; grandchildren, Sebastian Stegall; Adriana Stegall; and Veta LaVerne Richardson.Visitation for family and friends will be from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Teresa Stegall Fund at any Citizens National Bank.You may sign the guest register or leave a message of condolence for the family at www.carrolllehr.com.
