Teresa WIERSMA Obituary
June 21, 1963 - April 28, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Teresa on April 23, 2017. After a very lengthy illness, Teresa passed away like she had lived her life - with courage, bravery, determination, and an optimism that few of us possess. She passed away peacefully after saying her farewells with her friends and family by her side.
She is survived by her father Herman Wiersma, sister Helen Mosicki, brothers Fred (Karen) and Jake (Audrey), and their children and grandchildren. She will also be missed by her dear friends. Predeceased by her mother Magdelena.
We would like to thank all the staff of the Asbourne (Assisted Living) in Edmonton, Alberta for the loving, devoted, and personalized care given to Teresa that allowed her to live her life to the fullest and on her terms. Words cannot express our appreciation.
A Celebration of Teresa's Life will be held on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. in the Asbourne Assembly Hall, 11148-84 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta, with Chaplain Carolyn Nicolsen officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Asbourne Assisted Living Facility- Bus fund.
