Terry Wayne Dowers

Terry Wayne Dowers, 71, of Harrison, OH, passed away on October 15, 2023. He was born on September 8, 1952, in Cincinnati, OH. Terry was a laid-back individual who had a knack for fixing anything and always had a smile on his face. He cherished celebrating with his family and friends.

Terry is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Dowers, his daughter Renee Dowers, his stepson Joe Carr (Tracie), his granddaughter Alexa Jackson (Jerry), his grandson Tyler Baker and his great-grandson Brody Jackson. He is also survived by his brothers William Dowers, Dennis Dowers (Sheila), and Victor Dowers, step-grandchildren Sarah, Jeff, Tony, Britni, Tyler and Peyton, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and June Dowers, his brother Gerald Dowers, his sister-in-law Patricia Dowers, his stepfather Roy Campbell, his stepsons Fred Carr and John Carr, his niece Cynthia Dowers and many other family and friends.

Terry attended Aiken High School and served in the Army from 1972 to 1974. After his military service, he pursued a career as a diesel mechanic.

A celebration of Terry's life will be held at his brother Denny's house on Sunday, October 22nd, 2023.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Alzheimer's disease research.
