Gail, Terry trained me as a rookie when I joined the Jackson Police Department in 1983. And I must say that he was one of the best. He took care of you and he was one of God's chosen few. Stay in prayer and you'll get stronger.

Dearest Gail and Brad, The Word of the Lord tells us that the greatest among us is the one who serves. Terry's life is one of service to us all. To his family, friends, as a JPD officer, and to the judicial system. He stands now before the One who placed that calling on his life having fulfilled that call. Our hearts and prayers are with you and in the days to come, may you find peace and remember the joy of having been a part of this wonderful man's life and remember we are only separated for a time. "In that reunion of joy you will see, death will be swallowed in sweet victory" Hooter will miss his friend Terry-Bob.
In His Mercy,
Hoot, Gina and Tara Gibson

I thought of these words today because I could not think of any of my own. Paul wrote in I Corinthians 2:1 that he did not come to the Corinthians with awesome speeches or great wisdom, declaring the testimony of God. I do not have any wise and comforting words of my own. But, I do have trust and faith in God, that one day, He will share His understanding with us. Then, we will see clearly why things turn out the way they do. Until then, remember the command of Proverbs 3: 5-6, to trust in the LORD with all your heart and to not lean on your own understanding. Simply acknowledge Him as Almighty God, and he will give you direction in the days ahead. Gail, you and Brad are especially in my prayers, continually. I won't be able to attend services tomorrow, due to a business trip, but you will definitely be on my mind and in my prayers all day Tuesday.

I only knew Terry through my sister, Gloria Klauder, who is the Justice Clerk of Bolivar County, Ms, but Terry has been in my daily prayers for many months. He was on our prayer list at church, so he had plenty prayers going up for him. God just had better plans for him. I understand that he was a wonderful and caring person, and I would have loved to have known him. I was so impressed with his courage and determination. Just know that you will still be in my prayers. May God bless you and comfort your sad and aching heart. Pat Clark, Cleveland, Ms.

Although death is a certainty for all of us, it is never welcomed. We also never expect it to happen at such an early part of ones life. Terry was an inspiration to many and will be remembered as a person of extreme high moral and ethical values. He was truly one of the “Good Guys’. It was an honor to have worked with and known Terry. God Bless!
