Terry Kay Moran was born to Betty and Pat Moran in Granite City, Illinois on September 25, 1951. Terry passed away peacefully, at the age of 69, on February 27, 2021.
Terry grew up in Torrance, California and graduated from Lawndale High School in 1969. Terry spent many years living in Cedar City, Utah. Terry gave birth to two beautiful girls who she raised by herself. Terry raised Shelley and Kim with a positive attitude and a smile on her face. Nothing could bring Terry down or get in her way. She was a mother figure to so many, a sister, a grandma, aunt, friend, but most of all, she was a selfless, caring person that anyone could rely on. Terry was known by her “I got this!” phrase.
A Celebration of Terry’s life will be held on March 27, 2021 at the Lions Side Pavilion, Main Street Park (200 North Main Cedar City, Utah 84721), starting at 2:00 pm.
Final arrangements are under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Online condolences can be sent to her memorial page at sumortuary.com.

The one thing I can say about Terry is she was always cracking up, always making folks smile and always laughing. When others weren't, she would say or do something till everyone was! She will be missed!

You will always hold a very special place in my heart "Mother" and I know you are watching over me to make sure the alligators don't eat me while I am here in Florida!!! You always told me, "I got this" and I will never forget that... I know you are watching over me and would be so proud to see me getting my nursing license here in Florida. I and miss you!
