Terry, 88 years old, was born in 1934 in Long Beach, CA, he primarily lived in the Marysville, Washington area before relocating to San Jose, California in 1960. Terry worked as a teacher for 30 years and retired becoming a Realtor. His love of sports lead him to officiating were he worked Football, Baseball, and Basketball games working his way up to the college level in the PAC 8 conference. He loved the game of golf which he played as often as he could. Terry and his wife Janet eventually retired to Maui, Hawaii before spending his later years in Bandon, Oregon. Terry was the oldest of six children and a great brother to them all. He had four children, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, as well as 3 loving step daughters.

Mr O´Brien was our
P.E. Teacher in the early 70´s , I thought he was a tough but great instructor, every year he would invite all the equipment monitors to house for a barbecue/swim party , great memories

My condolences to the O'Brien family. Mr O'Brien was my PE teacher at Sylvandale, his approach to life taught many life lessons. He taught responsibility and ownership in the things we did. He bestowed me with the coveted job of the ballroom for the 7th graders lunch hour, it counted as a class. As an undersized 8th grade he selected me as a squad leader. Coach you taught me how to lead - Thank You! RIP Coach!

My condolences to the family , he was our P.E. teacher when I was in Jr.high at sylvandale.He was a great teacher , I use to help out after school checking out equipment, at the end of the year he had a barbecue at his house , swimming pool and all . Great memories.
