Tessa Divelbliss, 2, of Washington, Pa., died unexpectedly on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, in Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born March 16, 2009, in Washington, Pa., the daughter of Drew Divelbliss, of Scenery Hill, and Linsey (stepfather Andrew) Taylor, of Washington, Pa. Tessa had gone to Bubbles Bears to Books Daycare in Canonsburg. She liked to play with her baby dolls, helping her mom clean house, dancing and playing with her big sister. She went to church at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg. Surviving in addition to her parents is a sister, Tana Caputo, of Washington, Pa.; her maternal grandparents, E. Scott and Bliss McClain, of Canonsburg and Dennis Baker, of McKees Rocks; and her paternal grandparents, Dave and Jamie Divelbliss, of Scenery Hill; her maternal great-grandparents, Wayne and Dorothe Wakely, of Okeechobee, Fla., and Robert and Arlene Miller, of Forestville, N.Y.; paternal great-grandparents, Sandy and John Poroda, of Monongahela; her great-great-grandmother, Jean Paradise, of Webster; and her stepgrandmother, Jo Anne Taylor, of Washington, Pa. Also surviving are her aunts and uncles, David Divelbliss, of Houston, Texas, Brandon and Alicia Baker, of Ripley, N.Y., Erick and Chrissy Baker, of Eighty Four, Lynton Baker, of Canonsburg, Carrie McClain, of Canonsburg, and Kenneth Taylor, of Washington, Pa. Several other aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the DALE D. DeANGELO FUNERAL HOME, 1290 Jefferson Ave., Washington, Pa. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011, in St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 317 West Pike St. in Canonsburg, with the Rev. John Batykefer as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh in memory of Tessa Divelbliss.
