Thaddeus Jones Obituary
Our hearts were saddened with the sudden passing of our loved one, Thaddeus V. Jones who departed this life on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at his residence. He was born to the late Ann Celestine Jones and Waverly Richardson on December 29, 1970, in Hopewell, VA.
Along with his parents, Thaddeus was preceded in death by his grandmother, Eva Rollins; grandfather, Calvin Jones, Sr.; and his uncle, Calvin Jones, Jr.
Thaddeus is survived by his wife, Semique Waller Jones; five children, Jocelyn, Donté, Iyanna, Javon Sr. and Semiyah; two grandchildren, Kailani Jones and Javon Jones, Jr.; beloved grandmother, Annie Jones; three sisters, Tammy T. Johnson, Malaka Spriggs and Letitia Jones (devoted); three brothers, Adrain Richardson, Jamel Jones and Stephon Jones; niece, Jaela Jones; two nephews, Tyrone Jones and Jeremiah Williams; beloved cousin, Turketta Jones; long-time friend, Kool Hicks; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and numerous friends.
There are special people in our hearts who never leave us even after they are GONE!
Services will be held 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA, the Rev. Dr. Tyrone Jackson, Jr., eulogist. The interment to follow at Mt. Sinai Memorial Park.

I am still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that you are no longer here. Not in flesh anyway because you will forever be in my heart. It seems like yesterday that we were working side by side in slitting. Hearing of your passing was like a punch in my throat. You were always so genuinely sweet and polite.
