Hawthorne - Thelma E. Manning passed away November 15, 2014 at Shands UF.
She's a retired Environmental Service Tech and member of Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, Hawthorne, FL. Survived by 2 sons, Morris E. Manning III (Peggy), Hawthorne, FL, Reuben A. Manning, Atlanta, GA; 2 devoted daughters, Beverly R. Manning, Ft. Pierce, FL, Wanda L. Brooks (John), Hawthorne, FL; 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; a devoted sister, Lillie M. Buncombe, Hawthorne, FL; 4 brothers, Eddie Gillins, Fred (Viola) Gillins, Ocala, FL, James (Judy) Gillins, Crescent City, FL, Frank (Dorothy) Gillins, Hawthorne, FL. and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, 7220 SE 225 Terrace, Hawthorne, FL, Rev. Richard A. Brown, Pastor. Burial will be in Hawthorne Cemetery. Viewing hours on Friday at PINKNEY-SMITH FUNERAL HOME 4 p.m - 7 p.m. and Saturday at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church 10:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. No viewing after eulogy. The cortege will form at John and Wanda Brooks home 10:30 a.m. Saturday. On line Condolences may expressed
