Theodore H., age 88 of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away peacefully in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on February 15, 2015. Beloved husband of Katherine (Kate) Emmerich (nee Harmon) for 38 years. Born on June 16, 1926 in Covington, Kentucky to the late Theodore and Freida Emmerich. Devoted brother to the late Kenneth Emmerich. Devoted Brother-in-Law to William T. Harmon, the late Mary Lee (the late Robert) Brunemann and the late Patricia (Thomas) Shaw. Devoted Uncle to Robert Brunemann, Cathy (Michael) Sutter, Susan (the late John) Russell, Sharon Progar, Sally (Kevin) Czarniecki, Jeffrey Harmon, and Michelle (Jimmy) Thompson. Also survived by three great nieces and one great nephew. Ted was the Managing Partner at the Cincinnati office of Ernst and Young and a long-time member of the University of Cincinnati Foundation Board and The Christ Hospital Board. Private family services have been held. A memorial gathering will take place on May 15, 2015 at 12:00 pm at the Cincinnati Country Club. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Christ Hospital Foundation, 625 Eden Park Drive, Suite 150, Cincinnati, OH 45202 or the University of Cincinnati Foundation, P.O. Box 19970, Cincinnati, OH 45219.
