News Death Notice

NUNN, Theodore J. Of Kettering age 80 passed away Tuesday December 16, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Joyce L. Nunn. Ted is survived by his only child, Christina Nunn, two sisters in-law and brothers-in-law, Janine and Mike Scott, and Carol and Bill Michniak, and several nieces and nephews. Ted, a graduate of the University of Dayton, earned his Masters of Library Science from Western Michigan University. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Ted was employed as the Director of the Audio Visual Department for the Dayton Montgomery Library. Ted was an avid reader who loved to study the Civil War while drinking a cold Harp Lager. Friends may call Friday December 26 from 10:00am-12:00pm at Westbrock Funeral Home - 5980 Bigger Road, Dayton, OH 45440. A Memorial Service will be at 12:00 noon at the funeral home with Fr. Chris Coleman officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice or the American Heart Association. Ted will be next to Joy at Calvary Cemetery.

What a wonderful guy. A veteran, a librarian, all-around sweetheart through and through. He "broke the mold" as the saying goes. There will never be anyone like him.
