I met Ted when I was 15, living in the same neighborhood. We went to different high schools but took the same path when walking home. I always tried to walk with him. One day he said "Stop following me!" I was crushed. Years later he told me that when he told his mother what he had done, she said that was crazy and in a few years he would be asking me for a date. In fact, I was his date for his school proms. We remained good friends all these years.

Father Ted was a blessed soul. He officiated my and my sisters weddings. He always baptized our children. With our deepest condolences and sadness, may he rest in peace.

Ted lived next door to me my entire young life. He watched me grow and heard about all that I had done through my parents and his friend Charlie. Later in life he gave me the most significant gift of my life. He made it possible for me to buy his house. I can't explain here how much this meant to me or how important that was. But his impact will live on in both my son and I for as long as we live. I will miss his presence here on Earth. Much love to his family.

Father Osbahr was one of my instructors at Oratory Prep in Summit. He was well liked by the students. Father taught us a lot about life. Rest in peace.

We first met Fr. Ted when he came to our parish of St. Paul the Apostle in Irvington. Through the years we came to know him and considered him as a very special friend. Personally he helped me get started in my studies of liturgy which eventually led me to getting my masters degree in Liturgical Studies. I am very grateful for his friendship and inspiration. He was a wonderful priest and person.
