I will truly miss "Uncle" Ted! I´ll never forget the first time I met him in South Florida with his sister Tanya. It was one of the best weekends of my life!!

My sincerest condolences; I met Ted in 1987 when he was my LCPO at CINCLANT. Always willing to lend a hand when he let me use his truck to haul my Bug from Woodbridge to VA Beach. Rest in Peace, good brother and mentor! DPC(SW/AW) Al Gibbs (retired).

God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I did not know Ted personally, but he was a submarine brother, and richly deserves to have his life celebrated. Sailor, rest your oar, your shipmates have the watch.

Master Chief Vorce was our Chief of the boat (COB) on the Rickover SSN-709. He always went to bat for the crew, was well respected and fair. His name was mentioned many times this weekend during the commissioning gatherings for the Rickover SSN-795.

I was 5 years younger than Ted but I remember he had a great sense of humor and a great smile. He loved his family and it showed.

Ted is an honored shipmate whom I am proud to have participated with in the United States Submarine Veterans, Incorporated. He will be sorely missed. Rest your oar Shipmate, we have the watch.

Was proud to have served with Ted aboard the USS Atlanta SSN-712 and USS Hyman G. Rickover SSN-709. He was the most dedicated sailor I had the honor of serving with and he will truly be missed by all.

Something that reminds me of grandpa is Willie´s Roadhouse on SiriusXM. He´d always sing along and tap his finger on the steering wheel.
