Theresa Anne Buchner

Theresa Anne Buchner, 66, of Holland, MA, died at home in the loving care of her family on Sept. 20, 2022 following a courageous two-year battle with cancer.

Born April 11, 1956 in Johnstown, NY to Anthony and Beverly (Swann) Buchner. Theresa spent her career sharing her passion for art and education, working at the Johnstown Public Library and Glebe Street Elementary School in Johnstown. Most recently, she was employed at WEBS - America's Yarn Store in Easthampton, MA.

On June 27, 2008, she married David Kuzmeski in Northampton, MA. Theresa was an avid New York Yankees fan, she loved going to baseball games with her husband, who is a Boston Red Sox fan. She enjoyed gardening and created beautiful flower gardens at their home in Holland, MA. She also enjoyed painting, traveling, knitting, arts and crafts, and reading.

In addition to her husband, her love and legacy lives on through her children, Carey Royce (Jake Dettloff) of Holyoke, MA; Rosemary Royce of Queensbury, NY; Sam Ellithorp (Fox Montana) of Easthampton, MA; two grandchildren, Jack and Caroline Riedhammer of Queensbury, NY; two step-daughters, Liz Jensen (Anthony Rueli) of Easthampton, MA. and Catherine Kuzmeski (Justin Munson) of Augusta, GA; two nieces, Nicole Buchner (Mark Ketchoyian) and Deanna (Brendan) Johnson; a nephew, Garrett (Maria) Buchner; grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and her beloved cousins who were her life-long friends. She also leaves behind her two much-loved West Highland terriers, MacGregor and Tavish.

Theresa was predeceased by her parents, Anthony "Wheaties" and Beverly "Bev" Buchner; and her brothers, Garry and Danny Buchner.

A private memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 1 in Wales, MA. A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, at Union Hall in Johnstown, NY.
