Theresa KANABE Obituary
Passed away on Friday, November 28, 2014 at the May Court Hospice, in her 56th year. Theresa was the beloved wife of Charles Warnock. Daughter of Lydia and the late Albert Kanabe. Will be lovingly remembered by brothers Peter (Adele) and John (Katherine). Cherished aunt to Laura, Heather, Matthew, Alexander and Lucas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

I just learned of this. I don't know what to say. She and I worked as "nursing assistants" for years for the same company, met for brunch on one occasion to discuss a client we shared and changes to their care needs, were quite good friends (at one point), and practically lived next door when she was living with her Mom and I with mine (I used to join her when she would walk her dog - "Rocky"). I recently (approximately a month ago) ran into her and her husband at Carlingwood Shopping Centre, and the first thing she did was grab me and hug me and told me how wonderful it was to see me. I got to meet her husband (Charles) and we spoke extensively. He was wonderful, and I can see why she was so happy. My condolences go to him. We hugged when we parted and swore we would get together soon. I am so saddened by this. I would also like to extend my condolences to her Mother and her siblings. She was truly a treasure! May she rest in peace forever!
