Theresa H. Lipp (nee Melillo), 65, of Lakewood, N.J., died on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at home. The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union, N.J., on Monday, at 8:30 a.m. The Funeral Mass is at St. Michael Church in Union at 10:15 a.m. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, N.J. Born in Newark, Terry lived in Whippany, N.J., East Hanover, N.J., and Warren,N.J., before moving to Lakewood three years ago. She was an award-winning salesperson with Weichert Realtors for 32 years. She was a Eucharistic minister at St. Luke Church in Toms River, N.J., and was also a former Miss Olympic Park, Miss Ideal Beach, and a finalist in the N.J. World Beauty Pageant. Terry was the daughter of the late Carmella (nee Manzella) and Albert Melillo, and was the loving granddaughter of Theresa Manzella. She was the mother of Ronald H. Lipp Jr. and his wife, Kim, and Christopher S. Lipp and his wife, Kelly; she was the grandmother of Olivia, and Sophie Lipp, and was the cousin of Ron and Linda Manzella, Karen and Sal De Palma, Nancy and Joe Minneci, Pat and Jodie Downey, Diane Manzella, Beverly Auriema, Carol Caviano, Phyllis Armenti, Gail Pedicini, and the late Jimmy Manzella. She was the former wife of Ronald H. Lipp Sr. and the special friend of Sam Uzzolino; as well as the beloved aunt of many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, Tenn. 38101-9929 in her memory.
