Theresa JoAnne Pearson LoCicero, 82, a resident of Brunswick, died Tuesday 1/31/12 in the J. Olan Jones Health Care Center in Baptist Village, Waycross, Ga.
Mrs. LoCicero was a native of Altoona, PA and had been a resident of Brunswick for 32 years before moving to Baptist Village. She was a graduate of Altoona Catholic High School. She ws employed by Montgomery Ward, Puritan Knitting Mill and Century 21 Real Estate. She was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
She was a member of the American Legion Post 9, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, The St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Brunswick, Marist-Third Order of Mary and Council of Catholic Women.
Mrs. LoCicero was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Raymond LoCicero, parents, John Willard and Dorothy Martina Gill Pearson, brother, John Edward Pearson and a grandson, Arthur Caldwell.
Survivors are four daughters, Ann Marie LoCicero of Athens, Ga., Margaret R. LoCicero Newbern (Scott), Nancy E. LoCicero Bryant (Steve) both of Brunswick, and Mary T. Kennison (Thomas) of Hazlehurst, GA, a son, Joseph R. LoCicero II (Angie) of Athol, MA, seven grandchildren, David M. Caldwell of Portland, OR, Lisa M. Pickren of Hazlehurst, Kaelah M. Caldwell of Athens, GA, Scott Michael Newbern of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Sarah E. Horne of Panama City Beach, FL, Thomas A. Kennison, Jr., and Dale H. Kennison both of Hazlehurst. Two great-grandchildren, Leo M. Pickren and Annabelle K. Pickren, both of Hazlehurst, a brother, Steve Pearson of Altoona, PA, sisters, Donna M. Montenegro of Brunswick, Lois Mavretic of Harrisburg, PA, Barbara Orr of Harrisburg, NC and Gail Pearson of Altoona, PA and 17 nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM Saturday 2/4/12 with a Memorial Mass to follow at 10 AM Saturday in the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Military Honors will be held in the Church.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Marist-Third Order of Mary, members of American Legion Post #9 and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
The family will receive friends in the Parrish Hall after the Services
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to one of the following ministries

Mary, Joe, Margaret, Anne Marie & Nancy,
Your Mom was my oldest cousin. I remember her as a very kind and loving person from the times when we were together many years ago. She always seemed like she was a wonderful Mother to you, also.
