Theresa Pentz Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 30, 2025.
Theresa "Terri" Pentz, 68, of Plymouth, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at home on August 23, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on April 7, 1957, in Englewood, New Jersey, Terri grew up in Smithtown, Long Island, where her curiosity, compassion, and love for learning first began to shine. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a double major in Philosophy from Stony Brook University.

Terri dedicated much of her professional life to education, serving as a technology specialist and coordinator in K-12 schools, where she empowered both students and teachers to embrace new ways of learning. Later, she carried her passion for teaching and innovation into real estate, serving as Director of Training and Technology at Keller Williams Realty.

While Terri's career was meaningful, her greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted and loving mother to her daughter, Emily Pentz, and her son, Andrew Pentz, as well as a cherished mother-in-law to Holly Allen and step-grandmother to Olivia. She raised her children in Acton, Massachusetts, where she built a warm and supportive home filled with laughter, resilience, and unconditional love. Terri is also survived by her brothers, Steven Pugliese and Anthony Pugliese, and her sister-in-law, Donna Schatzel Pugliese, all of whom brought her immense joy and companionship throughout her life.

Terri found peace in the natural world, often hiking with her beloved dog Mandy. She also delighted in the quiet companionship of a good book. She was deeply engaged with her community, known for her generosity, warmth, and ability to listen with both empathy and wisdom. To those who knew her, Terri was a source of strength, intellect, and kindness, always bringing joy and a story worth sharing. She met life's challenges with courage and grace, guided always by her love for her children.

Her memory will live on in the lives she touched, inspiring all who loved her to carry forward her strength, compassion, and curiosity.
