I went to school with Therese for my junior and senior year of high school. She was unlike anyone else at our all-girls Catholic school. I always thought she was so cool, and it seemed like she had a lot of friends (mostly boys) outside of school. Which made her even cooler! I don't think I ever really spoke to her, but I definitely noticed her. There is a picture of her in our school yearbook reading "Tess of the d'Urbervilles," completely oblivious that her picture was being taken. I was impressed that she not only read the book (I, apparently, couldn't be bothered) but also personally enjoyed it, too. Therese seemed the kind of person who walked her own path and did her own thing. It's such a little thing, but I've always admired her for it.

Therese has a special place in my heart. I am heart broken with her passing but rejoicing that she's no longer broken herself and that she's with Ben. I'm glad our friendship grew this past year and I have those memories. She was fiesty yet had a heart a heart of gold. She loved her family, animals and friends. Someday I will see you again my friend. Prayers to Mike and the rest of her family.

Therese was always so kind and welcoming! As a fellow military spouse, she always had the right thing to say to cheer you up. She would always be the first person at your door if you needed anything. Therese will be missing deeply!

Therese and Mike showed up in my driveway with a truck and trailer overflowing with supplies after Hurricane Michael. They stayed with me for several days, stocking my fridge, providing me with electricity (they brought a generator and gas) and companionship. I was completely overwhelmed and did not even know where to begin to clean up after the hurricane. Their compassion will never be forgotten. Therese had the most beautiful heart and the most amazing smile. Sharon

Therese was such a spit fire. She was very bright, hard working and always upbeat. Therese worked for me at my veterinary clinic when she was in her late teens, early 20´s. We were around when she got married and had Ben. And also when she lost him to leukemia. She was a brave soul and a very dear person. I am so sorry that she has passed. Lorrie Clemens, DVM

Therese was a loyal friend more like a sister . I can remember ridding my bike with Therese and other neighborhood kids to Stanford golf course and sneak through a fence and swim and explore down at the creek . That´s just one of my favorite memories of her

She always brought light and a cheerful presence wherever she arrived. I Let her drive my new Mustang once and we were both so scared, we laughed. So witty, so smart and will always be remembered as a dear, caring and loved friend. Goodnight Angel----May you always rest in loving peace. Dan S.
