"Grace"
Grace passed away peacefully in Regina at College Park II on Friday, May 15, 2015. She was born on the family farm north of Southey on February 29, 1924. Grace was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2003; parents Karl and Mary Flaman; sisters Mary and Elizabeth and brothers Karl and Tony. She is survived by her sons Laverne (Maureen) and their children Cory (Roz) and Jody (Scott Honeyman); Gerald (Pat) and their children Paul (Steph), Mike (Megan) and Matt (Amber); Dwight (Michele) and their children Chelsea Helder (Dan), Avin and Kallyn. Grace was also blessed with seven – and soon to be nine – great-grandchildren; Ivy, Lara, Emersyn, Ryder, Katelyn, Ethan and Charlie. Grace lived in the house that Joe built in 1954, until February of this year. She missed her home, but came to love her new home at College Park II. Grace had so much love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We will miss her, but we know that she is still watching over us. Interment of her ashes will take place later this year. Donations in memory of Grace may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 3rd Avenue N, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8. Just cut through the hedge and knock on the door. It was back in the day when no one locked the door and our dog roamed free in the alley. Whether we were playing in our sand pit or a game of baseball behind your garage... What I remember about your Mom was that she was a remarkable Mother and made delicious Jam Jam's. My sincere condolences to Laverne, Gerry and Dwight, and to all your families.

Deepest sympathies to all of you. I remember Aunt Grace being a kind, loving, caring and accepting woman. She always made me feel special. I know she is now at peace and free to do all that she hasn't been able to in the past.
