As I wrote 2'years ago, you are very missed Dr. Amen......and family! I truly felt like I was "part of the family" and miss that very much. I hope your family is adjusting as well as they can, with such an amazing man missing in their life....how does one fill that void?

This is a shock - just weeks ago I was thinking about him on his birthday (7-12)! My condolences to Owena and the family. I'll miss knowing he was there to assist with my eyecare! Been going to him since his office was in the Medical Building at LaPaz.

I am so, so saddened to just hear of Dr. Amen's death. My husband Craig just returned from seeing the Optometrist that now owns his shop. Personally, I loved the Amen family and friends that worked with Dr. Amen. He was a wonderful, caring, gentle soul that occasionally joked a bit And then his wife and daughter were awesome at assisting me in picking out my eyeglasses which I always was happy with! You are ALL missed and know that really.....I am deeply saddened by the loss of your husband, father and friend Lots of love and prayer......Cindy Casey

Dr. Ammen was a very kind and considerate person and I was grateful to have him as my doctor.

Dr. A was my first mentor and became a dear friend whose advice and guidance was very critical in my upbringing. He was a fun loving, life-loving person, a great father and man of grace and I miss him deeply. True Class Act, "King of the hill, A number One". With love and sympathy..

Thomas was a joy to be around, even in the short time we were honored to know him. May the loving memories of Thomas fill your hearts with love and joy. Know that you were blessed to have Thomas as your husband and father and he reveled in knowing you were his family. You were his ultimate passion in life! All our Love, John and Vicki
