Thomas Nickolas "Tom" Baer

**Obituary**

Tom Baer, 78, of Waco, TX, passed away on March 26, 2024. He was born on April 27, 1945, in Manitowoc, WI, to the late Frederick and Dorothy Baer. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Baer. He is survived by his sister, Mary Scharenbroch and brother, Anthony Baer. Tom was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Tom proudly served in the Army for 3 years. Following his military service, he pursued a career in construction, truck driving, and mechanics. Tom was a dedicated member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where he found solace and community.

His passion for motorcycles was evident to all who knew him. Tom spent his days fixing things and exploring the latest gadgets, a hobby that brought him immense joy.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Anna Mae Baer, his children Marti Baer (and wife Dana), Stacie Streibel (and husband Dave), and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Dalton and Austin Baer, Jeromy Baer (and fianc�e Megan Stump), Harper Baer, Dustin Streibel (and significant other Ashley Yerger), and Chanler Streibel.

A Private Celebration of Life will be held to honor and remember Tom Baer.

Tom will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. He was a man of honor, dedication, and love, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories and a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him.
