BALD, Thomas William - of Flint, age 74, died Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Per Thomas’ wishes, cremation has taken place.
Thomas was born in Kangaroo Island, Australia on November 2, 1947, the son of the late Ralph and Adel (Clark) Bald. He lived in Australia for 52 years. In Australia, Tom drove taxi for 22 years. He played Santa for 20 years in Australia. Tom came to America on May 1, 1999. Tom married Vickie Nagy on July 21, 2004. They played Mr. and Mrs. Clause for 10 years. Tom was employed with Kroger for 7 years. He enjoyed Australian Rules Football. Tom loved his family and was very proud of his grandchildren both here and in Australia.
Surviving are his loving wife, Vickie;
children, Katherine Bald, Tracy Bald, Sarah Barnes and Joanne and husband Chris Schutz;
8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren;
2 brothers and 2 sisters;
and several nieces and nephews, all from Australia;
In America, children, Stephen (Jenifer) Frost, Anthony (Kim) Frost, Dawn (Michael) Page;
10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren;
Mother-in-law, Lillian Nagy;
Brother-in-law, Joe (Ann) Nagy;
Sister-in-law, Sandra (Ralph) Thompson.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Lancelot Bald, daughter, Jacquline Bald,
