Thomas Broussard Obituary

Sulphur- Thomas Craig Broussard, 55, died Tuesday, August 11, 2015, in a local hospital.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur and was a graduate of Sulphur High School. He was a true cowboy, bull rider, and bull fighter. Craig loved fishing and shrimping and was loved by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Tracey Broussard; his children, Brittany Broussard, Dustin Broussard and wife, Hayli, and Rashonda Broussard LeBlanc and husband, Dominic; his step-children, Emmett "Bubba" Bradford, Thomas "Tom" Bradford, Jacob "Jake" Bradford, and LaKeasha "Kee Kee" Bradford, all of Sulphur; two sisters, Cynthia Couvillion and Joan Provost and husband, Pat; one brother, Steve Broussard; and nineteen grandchildren with one on the way. He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Mary Lois Broussard; a grandchild, Kalob Joseph Vincent; and a brother-in-law, Keith Couvillion.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 15, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Vince Guidry will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service in the funeral home. Words comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.

Craig, I am saddened to hear you have gone and left all of us behind. I sure am glad I was able to see you a few weeks back, not realizing it was going to be my last time to see you. You've suffered for so long and now you are at peace my friend. You and I go a long ways back. I remember back in the 80's how we always loved dancing together. Those are the great memories I'll have of you forever Criag. May you rest in peace Craig.

Joannie, Cindy and Steve I am so sorry for your loss. Just know you all did all you could for your brother and he is no longer in anymore pain.
