Mr. Thomas Francis Carey

Thomas Francis Carey, 86, born on May 7, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York, passed away April 17, 2022. He resided in Brea, California at the time of his passing. Thomas had an outgoing, humorous, friendly and compassionate soul. He loved God, his family and his country above all things. He enjoyed watching hockey, baseball, and talking about WWII history. He served his country as a United States Marine during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Carey. He is survived by his children William Carey and husband Lawrence Stowell, John and wife Christine Carey, Stacy Carey, Mary and husband Robb McBride, Catherine Rush, Veronica Carey and fiance DeRon Baker, and Amber Carey; his grandchildren Andrew Carey, Nikesh Patel, Brooke Alluin-Carey, Ashley Carey and fiance Judson Parker, Shaun Patel, Matthew McBride and fiance Jasmine Holmquist, Adam Carey and fiance Danielle Bubniak, Anthony and wife Jasmine McBride, Brandi Rush-Carey, Thomas Rush, and Cash Baker; and great grandchildren Michael Cardona, Wyatt Holmquist, Wrylin Holmquist, Chandler Rush-Carey and Wrenley McBride; and siblings Agnes Carey, John Carey, James Carey, Gladys Clark, William Carey; and numerous nieces and nephews. As he was loved in life he will be missed in death. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 11:00 AM. The funeral mass will be immediately preceded by a Rosary at 10:40 AM.
