My deepest sympathy to Tucker's children and brother, Jim. He left quite a legacy for his family. There are no doctors or men like Tucker today! He was the best! He was compassionate and understanding. He made a house call to care for my grandmother when she had a heart attack at 80.. He understood she did not want to go to the hospital, she lived 10 more years!! I am sure he is in the upper level of heaven with Joan and John watching over the family he loved.
Love and prayers

To the Clauss Family
Your father was my doctor since I was a young girl growing up in Justus.
My mother started seeing him when he opened his practice in Throop.
She always spoke highly of him, and I know why, he would come to the house to take care of us when we were sick, even after working a long day at the office, as we only had one car, and my Mom could not get us to the office.
He was a good, honest man and he will be missed by so many people.

Dear Clauss Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great man who cared for my family since he started his practice. I will be forever grateful to him for saving my Mom's life, when she had rheumatic heart fever when she was only 16. Without him, our family, like so many other families, would never have thrived! I recall the day Doctor Clauss opened his family practice in an office across the street from our old homestead. He cared for my parents, John and Angie Glooch, with compassion for over 50 years. He was both a friend and trusted physician to them. He was a source of comfort to my sister, Joyce Paciotti, and me during their final years.

Clauss Family - I am sooo sorry to hear about Doc!!!! He was a great man and someone I will never forget!! He always got me back to playing softball or basketball after I thought I was injured - but he didn't think the injury was that bad and said toughen up and get back in there, HAHA! He and your Mom always welcomed me into their home and treated me like another daughter!! I will never forget either of them. May God keep you all in his care during this difficult time. May all the memories you have of Dad bring you all comfort at this time. My deepest and heartfelt sympathies.

Dr. Clauss was our family physician for many, many years when I was a child. There was nothing he wouldn't do help his patients be it in his office or a house call in the middle of winter. He didn't just treat the illness with medical knowledge but also with wisdom, common sense, humor and a compassionate devotion from his heart. He was truly a great healer. My condolences to all his family. Dr. Clauss was the last of "The Greats" among physicians. May his memory be eternal!
