Thomas Cooper Sr. Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 13, 2023.
Thomas "Tom" Cooper Sr., age 58, caught his final wave on December 2, 2023, in Oakland, California, leaving behind a trail of unforgettable memories. Born on May 14, 1965, in Germany, Tom was a true maverick who lived life on his own terms.

Tom was a machinist extraordinaire, crafting his way to the top as one of California's finest. He never needed a helping hand, always rolling up his sleeves and putting in the elbow grease. His mathematical skills were fa-nominal, proving that he could calculate circles around anyone else.

But Tom wasn't just a master of the machines; he was a thrill-seeking daredevil. Surfing, racing, motorcross - you name it, he did it with a gleam in his eye and a need for speed. And let's not forget his passion for flying his para plane, reaching new heights while always improving his yaunt. Talk about a high-flying life!

Tom's greatest joy came from his role as a father. Survived by his three children, Thomas, Anthony, and Lexus, he was their guiding light and the wind beneath their wings. He cherished every moment spent with them, creating priceless family memories aboard his beloved yaunt.

A celebration of Tom's life will take place on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at the picturesque Oceanside Harbor in California. At the stroke of 4pm, as the sun sets on the horizon, we will bid our final farewell to our dear Tom. His ashes will be released, allowing him to continue his eternal voyage on the waves he loved so much.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice, keeping Tom's adventurous spirit alive in the world. Remember him as the captain of his own destiny, the master of machines, and the life of the party.

Tom Cooper Sr.'s journey may have come to an end, but the laughter, love, and memories he left behind will forever echo in our hearts. Sail on, Tom, and catch the biggest waves in the great beyond. You'll be missed, but never forgotten.
