Thomas Dean Dalby

Thomas Dean Dalby, 73, of Fishers, IN passed away November 27, 2011. Tom was born July 7, 1938 in Chicago, IL and raised in Highland, IN by H. Gordon and Cleora Huff Dalby. He graduated with a business degree from Drake University where he was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. While at Drake, Tom met his wife, Carolyn Tuschall. They had two children, Kristy Truax of Carmel, IN and Thomas Dalby, Jr of San Francisco, CA. Also surviving are Tom's son-in-law, Vince Truax, and three grandchildren, Sean, Kari, and Kelly Truax. Most of Tom's career was spent in investing. He was a stock broker for Dean Witter Brokerage in Chicago, and worked in bank trust departments in Tulsa, OK and Little Rock, AR. Tom and Carolyn moved to Durham, NC in 1990 where he joined Smith Barney. Tom will always be remembered for his love of outdoor activities, his appreciation for nature and his golden retriever, KC. Memorial services will be held Friday, December 2, at 11:00 am at Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, Carmel, IN.
