Tom and I were born 1 month apart and lived within 1 mile of each other and we've been best, truly best friends from the day we first met and originally went to Cedar Lake Public School thru 7th grade when that school closed and we finished our education at Edmore High School Class of 1965.
We have remained in contact all these years and he will be sadly missed by me and my Brother Jerry. The only good thing about his passing is that he will now be with the true love of his life, Ann. She was also a Classmate to us and we lost her way to soon.
Our thoughts and prayer are with the Family at this time and I truely appreciate the fact that Rachell kept me in the loop starting as soon as she knew I was trying to get in touch with Tom.
With all my Respect,
Jack Archer

Tom was easy to be around. He was a hard worker and clearly loved his family. Tom was on the Amway retirees board with me and no matter the task, he was willing and able to help. His community mattered and that´s a wonderful legacy to have, one where you love your family, give of yourself to help others and never ask why. Tom was special. Condolences to his family. He will be missed.
