Dr. Thomas Michael DiResta

Betty,

We are deeply sorry for your loss. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Your father was a caring man and will be greatly missed by all.

I don't know where to begin but I'll try. DR DiResta was my doctor a very long time ago. He also treated my Husband for a an illness that turned fatal. My husband died when I was 6 months pregnant. Dr DiResta was by my side at the wake and the funeral of my Husband. His name was Michael Cheever. At the wake he was crying as I stood next to him. He took off a gold necklace with a medal on it and placed it on my husband in the coffin. My husband told me before he died that IF we had a baby boy he wanted me to name him Thomas Michael Cheever. And I did. It was an honor. So many years have gone by and I wish that I could have seen Dr DiResta again. He was my ROCK through the worst time of my life then. His wife was always by his side and a very compassionate woman. I loved both of them very much. I hope they found their way back to each other in the sky. Thank you Dr DiResta..............You did so much for me and educated me on simple things that have gone a long way in my life. God Bless you and if you see a 3 year old boy in Heaven ask him if his name is Thomas Michael....Cheever................

So sad to hear of Dr. D's passing. Dr. D was a great Dr.! I loved how he treated his patients like we were family! He will be missed by all who knew him! Love and prayers to his family, especially to his daughter Betty. Now he can be with his loving wife whom I'm sure he has missed. May they both RIP

My sincere sympathy and prayers to the DiResta family. I worked for Dr. Thom and Irene many years ago, while I was going to nursing school. I was blessed to know them both.

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Tom. It was truly an honor to work with him for his Bar Mitzvah and I will truly miss him. He was a wonderful man. My heart goes out to the family at this time of loss. May his memory always be for blessing. Sam Frydman (Tom's tutor)
