Thomas K. Dwyer, 42, of Lisle. Beloved husband of Susan Knott; loving father of Nicole and Kyle; cherished son of the late Donald R. (Pat) and the late Mary Jo
(Caldarulo); dear brother of Donald Jr.,
Joseph, Julie, Maura (Roger) Nieto, Timothy (Beth Lynch), Patrick (Maura); brother-in-law of Karen Palasti, Michael (Julie) Knott, Kristin Knott, Brian Knott, Jeff (Michele) Knott, son-in-law of Rosalie and Terry Knott; loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Funeral Monday 9:15 a.m. from the Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Ave. (on Rt. 53, 1/2 mile south of Ogden Ave.,/Rt 34), Lisle to St. Joan of Arc Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 3 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe made to the college funds of Nicole and Kyle.

I am so sorry to hear of T.D's passing. I haven't seen him in so long, but he is part of some of my favorite childhood memories and I will always remember him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

i dont know whay to say to you. you have been my everything for 16 yrs. i have loved you more than the world and also hayed you too. but my world revolves around you and our children. you are everything to them. you make them laugh, cry and have taught them how to appreciate everything. you are their souls, their cores, their personalities. i will see you in the foreverand they will never forget your love and laughter and everything about you.--even being a dork--being italian and irish--and cooking and most of all what you loved most--being their dad. you ca go to eternity knowing you left your impression on the world-- your children and you.

Although I haven't seen Tom in several years I was very sad to hear the news of his passing . My deepest sympathies go out to Tom's family . I first met Tom at St Lukes School. He was a really nice guy, always fun to be around and always smiling and happy. He'll be in our thoughts and prayers .

T.D. was greatness. I walked home from school with Tom for eight years. He always made me laugh. I have such great memories of Tom and im sure he will be missed by everyone he knew. My deepest sympathies go out to all the families.

I am deeply saddened by your loss. I haven't seen Tom since Kevin & Caitlin's baptism, but I do remember his great sense of humor as many of the others here have mentioned. I hope that his humor and love of life are carried on in his children.

Tommy D was one of those rare characters. While we had not seen him in some time, each time he called, it was as if no time had passed. You were always ready for a laugh. TD, we will miss you.

Tom never met a child that was not instantly friends with him. He was full of love and caring for all that knew him . He was a fantastic uncle to his many nieces and nephews. When I told my son of his passing, the first thing he said was, "Who am I going to play with at family parties ? He was so much fun to play around with!" We all know that his love will continue through his great kids and the caring and love he showed them every day by putting their needs ahead of his own. Most of all though, he will be missed by many.

I was so sad to hear of Tom. I went to grammar school with him at St. Lukes and missed a chance to get back in touch. As a boy he was great kid. It sounds like he grew up to be a good man as well. My thoughts and prayers to the whole family.
