Thomas Edward Paige Jr.

Thomas "Tommy" Edward Paige Jr., 67, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away on September 12, 2024. Tom was born on March 16, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri to Thomas and Marie Paige. His father, Thomas Edward Paige Sr. preceded him in death. He is survived by his mother, Marie Agnes Paige, his son, Thomas Edward Paige III, daughter, Cassidy Bassett, sisters, Becky Paige Clinger, Julie Paige Jennings, (Richard Jennings III), Susan Paige Tidball, (Christopher Tidball), and his eight beloved nieces and nephews.

Tom graduated from Bishop Dwenger High School in 1975. Shortly after high school, Tom moved to Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and spent most of his life on the "Emerald Coast". He married Patricia Lowe Paige in 1985. He spent his career as a successful Car Salesman for more than 30 years. In 2012, Tom moved to Naples, Florida to be closer to family.

Throughout his life, Tom was an avid fisherman. He spent many years fishing with his father, brother-in-law, Richard Jennings, his son, nephews and friends. Tom always had lots of "big fish" stories to tell and was his happiest out on a boat, with a fishing pole in hand. He was also a lifelong Notre Dame, Jaguars, and Green Bay Packers football fan.

Tom was known best for his infamous stories, being the life of the party, and being a friend to all, as he didn't know a stranger in this world. He was a beloved son, father, brother, cousin, and his nieces' and nephews' favorite "Uncle Tom".

Tom's passing was a tragic loss for his family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations can be made to the American Stroke Association and/or AA. A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, October 14, at 12:00pm at St. Peter's the Apolostle Catholic Church on Rattlesnack Hammock Road in Naples, Florida.
