Tommy and I grew up together on Newlands Avenue in the 50´s -we spent endless hours playing hockey and baseball and football on the street --his Dad Eli used to flood the backyard in winter and we´d have great fun `taking shots´ on Tom as he had goalie pads and loved a to tend goal. I moved away to Vancouver and then Calgary and would periodically see Tom when I visited my Mom and Dad in their East End. My sincere condolences to Steve and your family--Tommy and I had great times together and I´m very sorry to learn of his passing. RIP Tom--Your old friend, Ron Bremner

I taught school at Rox Park while Tom was there. It was a pleasure to work with him. He was a dedicated teacher with a good sense of humour. He will be remembered fondly by many. He was very proud of hi son.
