Dear Family and Friends of Dick:
I wish to remember Dick for his incredible dedication to the Canadian Superconducting Gravimeter Installation at Cantley, Quebec. I was associated with him from about 1989-1995, after which I left McGill University to come to the US. I was told by Jacques Liard (Natural Resources Canada) that well after his retirement Dick gave seflessly his efforts to maintain the instrument that many of us had been involved with for several decades. He was truly a fine scientist and a generous person.

Dear family and friends of Thomas Richard Flint,
Richard's former Natural Resources Canada's colleagues were saddened to hear the news that he passed away last Saturday.
I wish to pass along most sincere condolences to all Richard's family and friends. Many of us had the pleasure of working with him for
many years. Richard worked for the Department of Natural Resources Canada, in the Geophysics Division, and finally, after his retirement, for the Canadian Superconducting Gravimeter Installation. His CSGI colleagues said of him that "he was an incredibly dedicated individual who helped enormously in the running of GWR in Cantley, Quebec. Richard was invaluable to the SG project during the time he was involved. We had the highest respect for his technical abilities".
He left a memorable impression with people he worked with. We will always remember his contributions to Canada and the Federal government.
With deepest sympathy,
The Director Geodetic Survey Division
Natural Resources Canada
