Beloved Brother and Uncle Age 80, Passed Away Sept. 22nd, 2019 Preceded in death by parents, Theodore & Clarice; brothers, Gerald and Gary; and sister, Teddy Hayne. Survived by brother, Dennis (Kathy); and many nieces & nephews and great-nieces & nephews. Funeral Service 11AM on Saturday, Sept. 28th at Salem Lutheran Church, 14940 N. 62nd St, Stillwater. Visitation will be 4-8 PM on Friday, Sept. 27th at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 Arcade St. (Hwy 61), St. Paul and at church 1 hour preceding the funeral. Memorials Preferred to Gillette Children's Hospital, Courage Center of St. Croix, or HealthEast Hospice.

The moment I met Tom, a while back, he had me. I loved his personality and loved his smile. Sometimes you had to force it out of him, but that was half the fun. I asked him if there was anything I could get for him and he replied, "i I would love a chocolate malt". My sister Angela and I immediately went to the nearest malt shop and brought it back to him. His smile was never to be forgotten. I can still see him smiling as he sipped through that straw. He was a man.
I will never forget him, may he rest in peace.

Tom was so loved by his wonderful family and the life they shared with him over 80 years was full of so many happy memories which he shared with us. Tom was a very special man with a great sense of humor and a positive mental attitude! Over the past 3 years, we had the pleasure of getting to know Tom who quickly became our dearest friend. He always had the ability to make us laugh with his unique perspectives, observations, facial expressions, and silly jokes! Never once did we visit without leaving with a smile on our faces and happy hearts after being in Tom's company. We will miss sharing White Castle hamburgers with him, and the lively conversations that followed. A few months ago, we were all sitting outside the facility enjoying the lovely day and then it was time to go back inside. As we were wheeling Tom backwards toward the door he yelled out: Hey, I still have visitors here! We then leaned to his ear and said: Yes, and we ARE those visitors! All three of us laughed! We both truly loved Tom and for the remainder of our lives, his memory will be with us always. We were truly blessed to have known Tom.
