Thomas Gagnon Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Dec. 30, 2022 to Jan. 2, 2023.
Thomas Stephen "Tom" Gagnon, 47, of Hatfield, Pa., passed away on December 28, 2022, at Jefferson Abington Hospital.

Born December 31, 1974, in Wooster, Ohio, Tom grew up in Wooster, where he attended Wooster High School and met his future wife, Margaret. He graduated from Wooster High School in 1992. He attended the University of Cincinnati and then lived in Cincinnati, Ohio, for nine years before moving to Eastern Pennsylvania. He was an IT specialist and head mechanical designer for Global Chem-Feed Solutions, LLC, in Warminster, Pa., for 17 years.

Tom was the beloved husband to Margaret Gagnon, and had many true and loyal friends. Those who knew Tom, knew him to be an intelligent, funny, profound, and loyal man who lived life on his terms. In Tom's own words, "The most wasted day is one in which you have not laughed. Hoorah!" Those lucky enough to have known him will remember him with love.

Survivors are his wife, Margaret (nee Spencer) Gagnon of Hatfield, Pa., mother Sandra (nee Butdorf) Gagnon and father Stephen Gagnon of Fort Myers, Fl., sister Heidi (Bill) Griesmer of Hilliard, Ohio, and nephews Ryan and Devin Griesmer.

An outdoor memorial will be held at a date and place to be determined.

Contributions are suggested to help pay for Tom's medical and memorial expenses to gofundme.com/f/A-tribute-to-Thomas-S-Gagnon.

I had the honor of being Tom´s palliative care physician at the end of his life. He was an amazing man who touched me in a way that I cannot describe. Brief conversations with his wife Margaret and important ones with his mother the day before he died will stay with me always.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. We knew Tom but not well. We know his loving and proud parents and we pray they remember all the good times.
