Thomas Franklin "Tom" Hendricks

Hendricks, Thomas 'Tom' Franklin 60 Jan. 07, 1953 Jan. 05, 2014 Tom Hendricks was born Jan. 7, 1953, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Dr. Stanley L. and Doris (Rohde) Hendricks. He died Jan. 5, 2014, in Portland, after living with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) for several years. Tom is survived by his wife, Kathryn Estey; brother, Bob (Lila) Hendricks of Virginia Beach, Va.; sister, Judy (Peter) Nevins of Annapolis, Md.; and a long list of cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends who mourn his passing. The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to all of Tom's medical and caregiving team members who made such a positive difference to him throughout his illness: the Providence ALS Center, The ALS Association Oregon and SW Washington Chapter, Providence Hospice, Interim Health Care, the V.A. and especially to friends and caregivers Lupe and Matt.
