Thomas Newton Howard Graveside services for Thomas Newton Howard, 74, of Wolfforth, former Plainview resident, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Idalou Cemetery with the Rev. James Collins officiating. Burial arrangements are by Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. Mr. Howard died April 18, 2004, at his residence. He was born Jan. 27, 1930, in Caddo, Okla. He had worked for Edmonson Wheat Growers until retirement. He lived in Plainview before moving to Wolfforth last year. He was a farmer and a Pentecostal. Survivors include a daughter, Tressia Howard of Mount Ida, Ark.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Samuel and LaDonna Howard of Amarillo and Wayne Howard of Las Cruces, N.M.; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Etta Mae and Marvin Cron of Fairland, Okla,. Sandra and Charles Thomas of Plainview and Patricia and Delton Caraway of Weatherford; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Two sons are deceased. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-7 p.m. today.
