Thomas Edward Keough Jr.

Thomas Edward Keough Jr., aged 80 passed away on October 10, 2024, in Illinois. Born on September 9, 1944, Thomas was known for his sharp intellect, wit and kindness. He graduated from the prestigious Boston Latin and furthered his education with a degree in business from Northeastern University. Thomas had a successful career in sales and management within the electronics sector, where he was well respected by colleagues and peers . Thomas was a passionate individual with diverse interests, including photography, sailing his boat " Orion," and a love for classic cars and motorcycles. His hobbies provided him with much joy and were a significant part of his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife Diane Keough, daughter Erin Elizabeth and her husband James Tortorella; stepsons Jason Hvorcik and his wife Angela , Josh Hvorcik. Siblings, Kathleen Carroll and her husband James , and Paul Keough and his wife Carolyn . Thomas was a cherished "Papa" to his grandchildren Gracie, Blake , Natalie, Caroline, Hailey, Connor, Alyssa, Tyler , Zachary and Aiden. Also mourning his loss are his dear friend Janet Keough , along with several nieces, nephews and extended family. Thomas was predeceased by his parents Thomas E Keough Sr. and Olive E. Keough . In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's honoring his compassionate spirit. Thomas will be remembered fondly by all who knew him leaving behind a legacy of warmth and generosity.
