Thomas V Kildea

Kildea, Thomas V (Killer) - 63 of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023. Tom was born November 5, 1959 in Phila., Pa and raised in both Phila. and Yeadon, Pa. He graduated from Yeadon High School the class of 1977 and went on to serve our country by joining the Air Force and from there moved to Oregon, a state that he loved. Tom had a soft spot for animals and was a very intellectual and a gentle soul who loved to debate with you, especially when it came to sports or finances. He loved sports so much that he knew every player on every team and the position they played. He loved playing cards and board games and whatever else he could bet you where he thought he could win. He also had a temper whereas on one occasion, playing in the Babe Ruth League, a pitcher tried to hit him with the ball (or so he thought) and the next pitch Tom threw the bat at the pitcher, a classic. Tom who left us too soon will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Predeceased by his Mother, Ruth A Ferguson; Father, Thomas V Kildea; Step Father, Charles G Ferguson and Uncle, Thomas C Hare. Surviving are his sisters and brothers; Anne M (Jim) Prettyman of Somers Point, NJ; Eileen A Kildea of Surry, ME; John F (Goldie) Kildea of Broomall, Pa; Kathleen A Kildea of Novato, CA and Charles A Ferguson of Glen Mills, Pa. Also surviving are extended family Kevin, Timothy and Jennifer plus 9 Nieces and 8 Nephews and 8 Great Nieces and 3 Great Nephews and many more Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
