Thomas R. Krummen, 78, of West Chester, OH passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018 with his loving wife and family at his side. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; Raymond and Mary Lou Krummen, his two sons; Steve and Jeff Krummen and a brother; Don Krummen. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joan L. Krummen (nee Greis), devoted daughters, Beth Flege, Lee Ann (Kevin) Larks and Jeannie (Mike) Monroe, daughters-in-law Mary Sue Krummen and Julie Krummen, 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, siblings; Margie (Tom) Ray, Mary Jo (Gary) and Lynne.
Tom was born, raised, and lived his entire life in the Cincinnati area. He was a dedicated Tool & Die Maker, a caring and loving husband, a strong and encouraging father to five, and a loving, knowledgeable teacher to his 16 grandchildren. He studied Engineering at the University of Dayton and then went to work in the family business, Superior Die & Engineering in Northside, for over 30 years. He was so well respected in the Tool & Die industry that if someone was looking for a job and they had been trained by Tom Krummen, the boss said, "You're hired!" He had the mindset of "Do it right the first time." He was the voice of reason and the "go to man" when nobody else could figure it out. Those he worked with always commented on his tremendous work ethic.
Tom was truly loved by all those who knew him. He has left a legacy for his children and grandchildren that will be respected and admired throughout their lives. Although we are deeply saddened by his passing, we are confident and thrilled that he is now in Heaven and no longer in pain.

Joan and family,
I was deeply saddened to learn of Tom's passing. I had the pleasure of working for him at Superior. I will always remember him as the best boss I ever had. Your phone calls to him always brightened my days. Our prayers and sympathy are with you and your family.

To Joan and the Krummen and Flege familes, Irene and I were deeply saddened by the news of Tom's passing. The obituary did a wonderful job in describing this immensely strong and decent man, loved and respected by all who were fortunate enough to have know him, as we did. Lots of fond memories have been shared over the years, and now Tom is with his beloved sons, Steve and Jeff. His legacy will forever live on through the lives of those left behind.
