Thomas R. Lange beloved Husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away on January 14, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Tom was born September 30, 1947 in Dunellen, NJ. He later married Rose, the love of his life and moved to Raritan, New Jersey.

They spent all their free time in their home in Surf City on Long Beach Island. Tom was a lifelong Surf Fisherman and member of the Beach Buggy Association.

Most days he could be found gardening and tinkering in his beloved shed behind the Surf City house. The home built the year of his birth by his father. He had a love, respect, and passion for the ocean and was an avid Duck Decoy collector.

For over 50 years, Tom was dedicated to his career in the Real Estate Title Industry to which his commitment to excellence earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues, many who became lifelong friends.

Tom is predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Virginia Lange, his brother, William Lange, and his sister, Patricia Watson.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Knox and his children, Curt and wife Julie Lange, Katherine and husband William Withey, Kourtney Jean Knox, Kyle James Knox and wife Naha, three cherished grandchildren, Jude Thomas Withey, Miki Ella Knox, and Max Tomo Knox. He is also survived by his sister in law, Terry Lange of Florida.

He loved and treasured every moment with his grandchildren. He loved being their Poppy!

Tom, Big Tom, Big Man, Tommy, Daddy O, will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and in return, we will miss all his stories of days gone by and his strength, resilience, joy, and laughter. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
